I live on campus. Do I need a meal plan?
All students residing on campus must have a meal plan unless you live in Lockwood. If you do live in Lockwood, you have an option of having a full residential meal plan or a commuter plan if needed.
I live off campus as a commuter student or Faculty/Staff. Can I have a meal plan?
Absolutely! You may purchase a block of meals with a voluntary plan or add Flex Dollars to your card to use in the dining hall, as well as, The Beaver Lodge, Mantor Café, and on our dining app, “Everyday”
How do I purchase a Meal Plan?
Students living on campus select their meal plan as part of the housing selection process each academic year. Students living off campus can purchase a plan on our website: https://farmington.sodexomyway.site/en-us/meal-plan/meal-plan-options
Can I change my meal plan if it does not fit my needs?
Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan for residential students can be done during the first 2 weeks of school. Please see Student life to make the change to your plan.
What is the difference between “Dining Dollars” and “Flex Dollars”? Does it expire?
Dining Dollars is a set amount of dollars that come with your residential meal plan and can be used for food purchases in retail locations and on the Everyday dining app. Flex Dollars may be purchased any time of the year through the our website and can be used in The Beaver Lodge and Mantor Café.
Your flex dollars and dining dollars will debit as you use them. Any remaining balance from a residential meal plan will roll over from fall to spring but will expire at the end of spring semester. Flex money purchased with voluntary block plans will roll over from semester to semester. Flex Dollars debits as you use it, but balances remain on your account as long as you're an enrolled student.
I am a parent, family member, or friend. Can I add Cash to a student’s account?
You can purchase more Flex Dollars online at farmington.sodexomyway.com/shop You will need your student ID number to complete the transaction.

I'm not on campus all the time because of my Student Teaching. Is there a program that allows me to use my Meal Plan meal on those days?
One recommendation is our Reusable To Go Container program. Sign up at the South Dining Hall offices!
Any student on a meal plan can order a bag lunch to be picked up in South Dining Hall. Just place your order by selecting a Sandwich or Salad or Sandwich with a Side Salad and one item from the rest of the categories. Just make sure you bring your ID with you when you pick up your lunch for the checker/cashier to scan.

I am only on campus a few times per week. A Meal Plan is more than I need, are there other options?
Block Plans are structured as a block of meals to be used at your convenience throughout the semester. If you run out of meals on a block plan, you can always add another block of meals.
I have late classes and the Dining Center is closed by the time my last class is finished. Where can I eat?
We have options for you! South Dining Hall closes at 7:00pm Monday through Friday and at 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday. If you're looking for food options after dinner hours, The Beaver Lodge is open until Midnight every day. If you are on campus for lunch, you can use our Reusable to Go Container program and choose your dinner from any of our lunch menus - or you can order a bag lunch to eat later.
Is there a mobile dining app?
Once downloaded, create and account, link your meal plan and you're ready to start mobile ordering.
I would like to make a suggestion.... how do I do that?
We're here for our guests and always love to hear what you think! We have several ways you can give us suggestions and/or feedback. You can visit any of our locations and submit a comment card or even go to our feedback site
I have specific eating requirements. I am a vegetarian or vegan, have food sensitivities and/or allergies. Do you have options for me?
Yes! We have many plant-based menu options, and we add more recipes every semester. There is a dedicated area I the dining hall with a gluten-free fridge stocked for our guests, as well as a dedicated microwave and toaster.
Communication is the key to addressing food allergies and dietary needs. Prior to or immediately upon arrival to campus, please inform our General Manager, Tamra Hartlet (Tamra.Hartlet@sodexo.com) so he can advise you on how to navigate the dining hall safely. We also have a Dietitian (Chelsea.Champagne@sodexo.com) available, who provides individual consultations and can create a dining plan that works for you.
Can I buy a birthday cake or gift for my roommate/friend? Can I send a care package to a student on campus?

Can a meal be provided to a group of students for a special event?
